Last week high light was surely the “Blood & Honey” collector’s box from Fairyloot coming in! I have been waiting to see what was inside since I ordered it back in July. The team and Shelby Mahurin made such an amazing job with this box and can’t truly wait to read the book!
(Disclaimer: spoiler ahead if you haven’t received the box yet)
First and foremost, a cosy blanket to keep you warm in the seasons ahead and perfect to snuggle in while reading a book. Designed by @noverantale with a lovely quote from the books and I am sure I will have to share it with the cat as soon as he sets eyes on it.
A hand-poured bookish candle by @bookishburns inspired by La Forêt Des Yeux. From the amazing label designed by @blanca.design and packed with an amazing mix of patchouli, leather and fruits. This smells divine!
A set of enamel pins designed by @jezhawk, that features quotes from the book. I absolutely love the vibrant colours and how it summed up the series with the dove, the serpent, blood, honey, fire and the balisard sword.
A storage tin for your bookish trinkets, designed by @chattynora in metallic shades and a quote from the book.
An additional art print of Lou, Reid, Coco and Ansel designed by Katherine Britt.
My favourite item from the box goes to gilded tarot card deck. Designed by @oblivionsdream. It features characters from both books. I absolutely love them and can’t wait to see all the meanings on the Fairyloot community page.
Last but not least, the exclusive Fairyloot edition of “Blood and Honey” by Shelby Mahurin. Shimmery edges, amazing artwork on the reverse dust jacket by @arz28. An exclusive chapter from the one and only Shelby Mahurin! I can’t wait to read this!
SYNOPSIS for Blood & Honey: Lou, Reid, Coco, and Ansel are on the run from coven, kingdom, and church—fugitives with nowhere to hide.
To survive, they need allies. Strong ones. But as Lou becomes increasingly desperate to save those she loves, she turns to a darker side of magic that may cost Reid the one thing he can’t bear to lose. Bound to her always, his vows were clear: where Lou goes, he will go; and where she stays, he will stay.
Until death do they part.
