With regards to my Autumn Self-Care Checklist, you will notice there is a main theme to it: make it cozy.
I mean, it is a self-care checklist and all, but you know I am kind of extra and always have to go the extra mile, so I got the lovely Fred to do yet another graphic of hers, made with love – and a lot of swearing, too.
This time, though, you can print it and put it in your room and tick off all the things you did get to check – because why else would you need an Autumn self-care checklist otherwise?!
If you want to see the previous graphic – the post is here.
Also, we have decided to celebrate with a few different posts on here and Instagram the fact that on Saturday the 10th of October it’s actually World Mental Health Day, but rather than focus on a single day, we will put different things on through this week. Stay tuned.

GO FOR A WALK IN THE PARK
Is there anything more relaxing than a chill walk at the park, while the weather it’s grey and maybe it’s drizzling too? I absolutely love the feeling of a grey day at our favorite park.
HAVE A HOT BUBBLY BATH
And this goes without saying, if you have a bath, it has to be with a Lush bath bomb – my favorite, you ask? This one right here – of some sort, because if you don’t come out of the bathtub swearing as you will now need to scrub the whole thing off the white sides, it didn’t happen.
WEAR MY FAVOURITE FALL JUMPER
Assuming in this case there is ONE favorite, of course – I love most of my jumpers as if they were my babies, so if I was to pick one as my absolute favorite, I would be lying.
DRINK MY FAVOURITE HOT DRINK
Yes, I am a bit of a snob with coffee – thanks to both sisters – but when it comes to THE hot drink, my choice will always, always go to a pumpkin spice latte, and you know you love it too. If you don’t…well, you don’t.
BUY A BUNCH OF SEASONAL FLOWERS
I love all the flowers, like all of them. But sharing a room with one of the sisters – the one who is allergic to pollen – means we never have flowers in the bedroom as I wish I could. That does not stop us buying a bunch or two to put around the house, or in Cristina’s room!
WRITE ON A JOURNAL ABOUT MY DAY
This is maybe the most challenging on this list, as I have a fond memory of my bullet journal *insert sarcasm here*: it gave me so much more anxiety not having the perfect bullet journal I was envisioning, so I moved on and ignored it fully. I have just found an app that could work for me, it’s called Daylio so let’s see how this one goes. Might still give a shot to the bullet journal after all.
LIGHT SOME SCENTED CANDLES
I used to buy loads of (cheap) candles and let them gather dust around my bedroom, lighting them up was never an option as I could not smell anything anyway so never bothered to ruin them. Until I finally decided to lit up one of my absolutely favorite a few weeks ago for the first time and I am now head over heels for it: I am talking about the ThisWorks Lavender & Vetivert Candle. It is honestly dreamy, TJ loves it and I could let it go for hours as it is very relaxing and soothing.
HAVE AN EARLY NIGH IN MY COZIEST PJs
We all know, 2020 has been a lifetime in PJs, I get it. But, I am still a very avid fan of PJs no matter the situation, and an early night in, sipping on a cuppa, in my favourite pyjama, cannot be beaten by any night out ever. Yes, I am a creature of habit, and habits die hard. But there is no other place I rather be than my bed, for sure.
So here goes my Autumn Self-Care Checklist, it’s a short one but combine most of these together and you get the night in you’ve been dreaming about for so long. Or, if you are like me, just another way to relax and unwind after a long week of work from home, you pick the side.
