Today marks my official first week of isolation, or quarantine, whatever you might prefer to call it.
I have left the house twice since, both times for food. The last time was on Saturday and I experienced my first queue, brief and actually well organized, so that can also be ticked off the list of been there, done that.
We have completed most of the cleaning at home, so we might decide to start it all over again soon. It is a nice routine we have created with the ladies and gent of the house, so it would be sad to see it go – but there is literally only so much left to clean!
I have been playing way too much Animal Crossing, got my own Nintendo Switch (regretted instantly), and I will need to try and avoid screen time as much as possible with the result being no headache…
We are hopefully getting our coffee grinder delivered any day now, we have run out of ground coffee on Sunday and it’s now Tuesday… I need my dose of caffeine stat to maintain my mental sanity usually, so go figure how I will cope while on isolation. Tea just does not cut it.
I am trying to get down to more blogging, more reading and a bit more watching stuff I have never watched, rewatch my favorites and so on.
Plan for the rest of the week is to find a proper skincare routine back, start reading all the books I want to read and maybe also start some meditation and a tiny itty bitty work out here and there. We shall see if I manage, between a virtual queue on Ocado and Tesco.
Read about the first couple of days of isolation here, if you feel like it.
