When it comes to dressing up, I am a 30 years old stuck in the body of a 12 years old, so this ideal Autumn outfit could go very well – or very much downhill as soon as you get to the end of this.
I have the bad luck of living with two sisters who, both in their own ways and style, end up looking like two very cool ladies with little to no effort.
And then there is me: my name is Potato. Looks like a Potato. Behaves like one too. Imagine the fun.
But let’s get back to the initial point, which was all about the ideal Autumn outfit: I have decided to collate a few of the items I have been stalking online these past few weeks and that I would love to wear.
In no way that means they were purchased – or at least not all of them. This is a disclaimer for both aforementioned sisters, thanks.

ASOS DESIGN Petite high rise ‘original’ mom jeans in black – £20.00
These are some simple black jeans I love, not fully skinny jeans but a bit more baggy, for that relaxed look we are all going for right now – plus the extra weight we all carry from lockdown…oooops!
ASOS DESIGN long sleeve oversized dad shirt in cotton in white – £25.00
A nice, crisp white shirt to wear under all jumpers, I love how loose it can look, but at the same time it will make the outfit look that tad bit more smart even though you might not need it.
KIEL JAMES PATRICK The Big Cozy Fall Leaf Sweater – $128.00 (no longer available)
Yes, the splurge on this one jumper would be a bit too much, particularly in these circumstances, but can a girl dream?! It looks amazing, and to be fair ANY jumper I have seen on the KJP website has been nothing short of amazing. One day, Simona, one day.
DR MARTENS Adrian tassle loafer in black – £129.00
These would be an addition to my ever-growing collection of DMs, I love them more than they love my feet, but we are relentless and even with blisters, you will see me wear a pair no matter the pain. These little loafers are just what’s missing from said collection, so yeah…price tag apart, one day I will conquer.
BERSHKA Coat in Grey – £29.99
A very simple, yet stylish choice for the coat. It’s quite remarkable, and to be honest i just love a coat that can be as versatile as this one. Extra brownie points for bagginess and pockets, I love pockets.
What do you think of all these then? Have you purchased already some of these? Have I tempted you enough to splurge on some of them?
