What can be better than building your own Christmas Wreath, I hear you say?
If you were to ask us three – absolutely nothing better than that. Maybe because we have never had a wreath before – and I am not talking strictly Christmas, I mean any in any form or shape for any kind of seasonal event – maybe because they are not a thing back home in Italy.
Or, also, simply because we love a good DIY project – even when the kit comes with everything you need and more.

This year, we have picked our first ever kit from Etsy, and after a thorough search, we have decided to go for this Christmas Wreath Kit right here from the lovely peeps at Lichen & Berries.
The kit comes with everything you need, but scissors. And there is plenty for you to make either a hugely filled wreath, or a smaller one like ours and a centrepiece – which we shall be doing soon.

Once you remove everything from the box, you will see what I mean for abundance of foliage – you could easily fill it to the brim or use the rest for something else.
Everything smelled amazing, as if we were in a forest.
The building process was easier than I initially anticipated, and I think it would be also quite nice to do with the kids: let them place everything, then finish it off with the twine and hang it on your door.

Get creative, there is a few different things you can use like orange slices and pinecones, so layer it up and make it look super snazzy.
Our chief in charge, Cristina, did an amazing job of it.

Do you think we did a great job? We love it and have put it on our door, proudly opening it every now and then to check it out – we’re mad like that over here.
Now for the Christmas link, of course:

I made a Christmas wreath one year but I have to say it wasn’t as impressive as yours, which looks fabulous! I’ll have to look into DIY kits, it’s not something I realised you could get ๐
Thank you Lisa – it was fun to make so it is definitely worth it! We loved making it, and loved supporting a little merchant on Etsy.
