So this needs no introduction: a three – I mean, 3!!! – three ingredient strawberry sorbet ready in no time.
- 2 lemons
- 400g of white sugar
- 400g of strawberries
Let’s start by washing properly one of the two lemons, then we can chop it in small pieces with the skin and everything on, and finally, we can remove the seeds. Place it in the food processor with the sugar and mix until well combined.
At this point, remove the mixture from the food processor and place it in a bowl. Wash the strawberries, cut them and blend well in the food processor. When you are finally left with a strawberry “sauce”, put the lemon + sugar mixture in and add the juice of the second lemon left. Blend well for a couple of minutes.
Now, you may have an Ice Cream maker. I don’t. If you are one of the lucky ones, follow the instructions of your machine.
Otherwise, take a baking dish or container – possibly a glass one – and place the mixture in there, then freeze it. Make sure to check it and mix it with a fork every couple of hours, so that you break the ice.
