Ingredients
250
g
unsalted butter
200
g
white sugar
200
g
brown sugar
1
tbs
vanilla extract
2
large eggs
410
g
flour
1
tsp
baking soda
½
tsp
baking powder
½
tsp
salt
100
g
chocolate chips
Instructions
In a small bowl, measure all your dry ingredients - minus the chocolate chips.
In a larger bowl, cream your butter with the sugars until it's fluffy and light.
Add the eggs, one at the time, and keep beating until they are incorporated.
Now add the vanilla extract and start adding the dry ingredients slowly - it can get very messy!
Once the dry ingredients are fully incorporated, add the chocolate chips and fold in by hand using a spatula.
Divide the dough using an ice cream scooper or by hand, rolling so that you create some balls - they shouldn't be bigger than 4cm.
Place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 8-10 minutes at 180°C.
Notes
They hold for 5 days in a air-tight container (if they get to last that long!).
