This version of the red latte is made using beetroot powder and it's as delicious as it looks!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tsp beetroot powder
  • ½ tsp white sugar
  • 4 oz espresso
  • 1 tbsp boiling water
  • 240 ml milk

Instructions
 

  • Start by adding the beetroot powder and sugar to a heatproof cup or mug.

  • Pour boiling water over the mixture and whisk until the beetroot powder dissolves completely.

  • Using your espresso machine, brew a single shot of espresso.

  • Pour the freshly brewed espresso into the cup with the beetroot base and stir well to combine.
  • Heat and froth your milk.

  • Slowly pour the steamed milk over the beetroot and espresso mixture, holding back the foam with a spoon.
  • Once the milk is fully incorporated, top the latte with a dollop of frothy milk for an elegant finish.
  • For extra flair, dust a pinch of beetroot powder on top as garnish.
