Ahoy sailor, and join us for this Christmas edit of 2021! Too nautical as a theme? I thought so, too, but wanted to try my hand at being a pirate, even for just a second. Alas, the real deal here is a summary of Christmas past, ahead of the launch of Christmas future! And how can you resist it now? In T-7 weeks (not that this is a drill) it’s the big day and we have to all be ready, am I right?

So after sending your brain into overdrive – have I even started Christmas shopping yet?! Is the menu planned? Will my mother-in-law judge everything I do? – we can start chatting about this Christmas edit for 2021. As you know from last year, you can read the Christmas collection from 2020 already. And since you seem to have enjoyed that one Christmas edit before we kicked all things Christmas off in 2021, we thought we’d repeat the tradition. Because if it ain’t broken, why change it am I right?

As you might have gathered, we are lovers of Christmas around here. And a good Christmas edit too. Maybe even more than any other celebration. Because Christmas is the absolute best when it comes to food, company and…gifting! We love buying each other presents and we’re known for doing big, blown out of proportion presents because we just love to see the faces of people who open them. Definitely the most special time of the year! And since we’ll be moving our whole life to Italy just before Christmas, we won’t be doing #blogmas this year. But we’ll be definitely cheering for our blogger friends who have decided to take on that mammoth task!

Christmas edit – 2021

What’s #blogmas?

If you don’t know what #blogmas is, get ready: bloggers post daily – yes daily! – on the run-up to Christmas. Even multiple times a day. And it doesn’t strictly mean posting on a blogging platform, of course. It can be on socials or a combination. Similarly to #blogtober, it’s a month-long challenge for bloggers for the month of December. Some bloggers do the entire month, while some others stop on the 25th of December, a bit like an advent calendar sort of deal.

So, in the spirit of creating, we might be able to join this once again next year. In the meantime, find out about our Christmas edit of 2021.

Gift Guides – Christmas Edit of 2021

You know we love a good gift guide, and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to include as many as possible. Include them in this Christmas edit of 2021 was just bound to happen. What kind of Christmas edit would this be if we were not to include all the bits and bobs we would have loved to receive or gift around? And Cristina did such a brilliant job of collating some of the best products in every category you could think of. We had Christmas decor, advent calendars and both pyjamas and jumpers. But also pet gifts, book lover gifts and board games, for good measure. I mean, the list is honestly so long I could go on for hours.

We have revised all of them and made sure the products that are no longer available have been replaced where possible. So make sure you check them out again as it might help you find a good present for everyone in your life.

We always aim at bringing you recipes that are easy and special. With a bit of a nice twist to them. And, I do guess the Christmas edit of 2021 is a good summary of that. The recipes we shared are quick, easy and extremely tasty! From all the cookies and biscotti to a liqueur and even Brussels Sprouts! But the mushroom Wellington is one of those we have loved so much, we keep making it over and over again. Talk about the Christmas edit dish of 2021.
